Like a bright green flash, the mysterious sight was seen around 10 p.m. Footage captured on the dash cam of a car in Los Angeles around that time shows the object falling through the night sky towards the ground. U.S. Strategic Command told CBS that the object does not appear to be man-made, like a firework or projectile, however it was not a tracked satellite in their database, the agency said.

A little understood point concerning history, science and politics/corruption/cover-ups. This 4 min interview discusses US Air Force Project Blue Book Special Report#14 undertaken in the mid 50s that looked at reports where unknown aerial objects had been seen (by pilots, radar operators, ground technicians etc). The KEY POINT being raised here is that the BETTER the observation (ie long duration, clear sky, multiple witnesses, radar correlation etc) the more likely the report could not be explained away as conventional phenomena (ie aircraft, balloon, meteor, star/planet etc). ie it was considered that what was seen was a genuine unknown.
This is the opposite of what you would expect if all the unidentified objects were simply misidentified aircraft, balloons etc. ie If the sighting conditions were good then the percentage of unknowns would be very low. This pattern indicates that the trained observers making these reports were actually seeing unique phenomena a significant amount of the time that could not be categorised in a conventional manner.
The summary of this Report stated that only 3% of cases could not be identifed, but this is not true. (Here we have the politics/corruption/cover-up part of the story). The real number was over 20%. The summary, which most people will look at rather than read the whole thing, outright lies about the content. I have a copy of this report and it does confirm everything that is said in the video.
Official lying about things has been going on for a long time (just think about WW2 deceptions for instance).
Furthermore, in the late 60s there was another Air Force sponsored report, which closed down Project Blue Book, 'The Condon Report' where they used the same stunt: a false-conclusion-to-the-data ploy. This was then sold to the media/public and so ended any officially acknowledged interest in these unknowns. And yet through FOIA we have a number of documents that show official interest continued within the US intelligence community.

A space enthusiast has demanded NASA explain a "UFO" after an unexplained patch of light in the shape of a Star Wars spacecraft appeared above the earth during a live feed.
Jadon Beeson was watching a stream of the International Space Station on his iPhone on Tuesday when a strange object appeared in the background.
The 20-year-old Brit said NASA "cut the live feed for an hour" after it showed up.
He says he has asked NASA explain the "clearly defined UFO", which was broadcast on NASA's official app, but they have not responded.
"It was unquestionably real and present. It looked like the Millennium Falcon," he told The Mirror, referring to Han Solo's spaceship in Star Wars.
It is the second time in a month NASA has been accused of covering up "UFO" activity.
Scott Waring noticed a strange metallic object while watching footage from the International Space Station (ISS) on March 9.
Like Mr Beeson, he claimed NASA cut the footage after it appeared.
A likely explanation for the objects is that they are merely two of the 500,000 pieces of space junk NASA estimates are orbiting around Earth.
Many ancient civilizations speak of contact with beings who come from elsewhere. Ali provided details of a close-up UFO encounter he had while driving at night from Tehran, Iran to the city of Shiraz. "It [was] so big that if it were sitting on the ground it would be like three or four stories," he said. Ali described the large craft as circular-shaped, with metallic divisions like floors, and covered all over its surface with green lights. He revealed how a giant tube emerged from out of the desert which the descending UFO landed upon and then was quickly sucked into the ground.
Ali summed up the entire biblical narrative as telling the story of a race called the Elohim. We are part of the Elohim, as are the angels who possess a more advanced understanding of the mysteries of the universe, he explained. According to Ali, the Nephilim (fallen angels) are also part of that race and thus genetically compatible with humans. He likened Old Testament stories of the Nephilim mating with human women to the contemporary alien abduction phenomena supposedly happening aboard spaceships all around us. "[The Nephilim are] a race that is apparently taking the genes of those who are made in the image of God and using them to graft them into [their] own revolution," he said. Their ambition is to be like God, he suggested.

There was a rash of UFO sightings over the state of Michigan (USA), skies in 1966, being reported not only by many sheriffs and police officers, but also by good reliable people in Washtenaw County and its surrounding counties. But the most notable incident occurred with a Dexter farmer named Frank Mannor, a father of ten children who witnessed a UFO remaining over his swamp for more than four hours. The witnesses included his wife, his children, his in-laws, and other residents from the area. Daniel Whitmire, a researcher with the University of Arkansas, once said the “persistent evidence of a Jovian mass companion in the Oort cloud” where comets originate may explain mass extinctions on Earth.
“The dislodged comets not only smash into the Earth, they also disintegrate in the inner solar system as they get nearer to the sun, reducing the amount of sunlight that reaches the Earth,” the U of A said about Whitmire’s theory.
The only major difference between Whitmire’s theory and the theory proposed by Caltech’s researchers is the length of Planet X’s orbit: Whitmire suggested an orbit of 27 million years whereas Batygin and Brown believe the planet orbits every 10,000 to 20,000 years.
But that discrepancy doesn’t necessarily rule out the influence Planet X could have on comets – and it’s potential threat to Earth.
The idea of a distant, massive planet bringing doom to humanity was first proposed by numerous ancient civilizations, particularly the Sumerians who said that Planet X dwarfs Earth and bombards the solar system with comets every several thousand years.
More recently, in 1984, astrophysicists suggested a red dwarf orbits the sun every few million years and “periodically causes immense comet showers, plunging Earth into cold and darkness that kills up to 70% of all life.”
“The scientists believe the sun’s companion is a small, dark star known as a red dwarf with a mass probably only one-tenth of the sun’s and an elliptical orbit carrying it into the Oort cloud,” the AP reported. “Within the cloud, more than 100 billion comets are flying in remote orbits, scientists say.”
“As it passed through, the dwarf star’s gravity disrupts the orbits of about a billion comets so they shower down toward the inner solar system.”
